Most remember for "The Kiss" Gustav Klimt was an Austrian artist involved in the Vienna Art Nouveau Movement at the turn of the 20th century. We offer many of Klimt's dramatic figurative works with hand embellished gold edges done by our staff.
A prolific artist, Alphonse Mucha is famous for his contribution to Art Nouveau, a style of art and architecture characterized by the use of organic shapes, especially floral and other plant-inspired motifs, as well as highly-stylized, flowing, curvilinear forms. This Czech painter came to fame producing advertisements for Sarah Bernhardt, a famous actress in Paris at the time. Our most popular framed Mucha's represent the four seasons.
A former photographer for the Baltimore Sun, A. Aubrey Bodine's black and white prints offer a remarkable window into the rich history of Baltimore and Maryland. His photographs document the unique landmarks of Baltimore and the richness of life on the Chesapeake Bay in the mid 20th century. Our most popular print, "Wash Day," shows a sunny city street filled with neighbors scrubbing the white marble steps of their rowhomes. We currently offer small and medium sized prints, and a select few larger prints pre-framed as well as cards and unframed prints. We can order any other print as well.
